Does it support recognizing rotated images?

Yes, rotated images will be automatically corrected before recognition.

Does ID card recognition support Hong Kong and Taiwan ID cards?

ID card recognition currently only supports mainland China resident ID cards.

How to improve the accuracy of document recognition?

The accuracy of document recognition is related to factors such as font, lighting, and clarity. It is recommended that the image text be clear with natural lighting and no glare. When using ID card recognition, it is recommended that the ID card occupy more than 80% of the image area.

What is the response speed of document recognition?

Generally within 200ms - 1s. Recognition time is affected by image size, amount of text, and network environment.

Can different document types share resource packages?

Yes. Under the document recognition product, such as foreign passports, domestic passports, Hong Kong-Macau-Taiwan travel permits, and ID cards, all share the same resource package.

How will billing work after the trial resource package is used up?

After the trial resource package is exhausted, if you have purchased a paid resource package, it will automatically switch to the paid resource package for deduction. If you have not purchased a paid resource package or the paid resource package has been exhausted, the service may become unavailable. What is OCR?

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is a technology that automatically converts text in images (such as scanned documents, photos, PDFs, etc.) into editable and searchable text. It is widely used in card/document recognition, document digitization, invoice recognition, license plate recognition, handwriting recognition, and other fields.

Which documents are supported for OCR recognition?

We focus on high-precision document recognition. Currently we fully support: Mainland China resident ID cards (front and back), Chinese passports, foreign passports (90+ machine-readable passport countries), Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.
